MVFC Truck Fire At 12:30 am on 2/7/16 Engine 56-1 from the Marydel Volunteer Fire Company was returning from a standby at Station 600 (Greensboro Volunteer Fire Department), while one block from our station, A fire in both rear wheels and back compartment area, was discovered by the officer. While trying to extinguish the fire, a tire blew and three firefighters were transported to KGH treated and released with minor injuries.. Thankfully no one was seriously Injured. Our community will remain protected and when needed our neighboring companies will provide extra support. Chief Buffy Madden
