Early Sunday morning September 25, 2011 the Marydel Fire Co conducted two controlled burns simultaneously with the help of our neighboring mutual aide fire companies. The first one was an old barn located in the woods on schulze road where all units staged, (Marydel, Hartly, Goldsboro, and Sudlersville fire Companies) as the first controlled burn took off units from Sudlersville and Goldsboro headed to the second location on Woodyard road and preceeded to start that controlled burn. The second burn was a good learning opportunity to work with Sudlersville Fire Company's new units. Many thanks to all that helped.
