Assist Station 700 - 16960 Melville Road

On Friday May 13, 2011 Caroline County Fire alerted Station 700 (Goldsboro), 56 (Marydel), 600 (Greensboro), and 400 (Ridgely) for a reported vehicle fire with an exposure to a structure. Engine 56-1 went responding with a crew of six, officer 56-22 (LePore). Engine 703 arrived to a van fully involved and started a quick knockdown. Engine 56-1 arrived and assisted engine 703's crew with suppression and overhaul. Command Placed situation under control holding engines 703 and 56-1, and tanker 706. Units cleared and returned to quarters.
