As inclemant weather struck the area, heavy snow falling, the Marydel Fire Company was dispatched at 11:16am by Kent Center for a reported MVC, reported as a rollover. Engine 56-1 went responding with a crew of 7, with officer 56-16 (Simonsen), ambulance B-56, and KM-7. Rescue 56 was not available, due crews were participating in Maryland's polar plunge at Sandy Point State Park. Kent Center advised subject was still in vehicle, unknown about entrapment. Officer 56-16 requested a rescue out of station 51, but due to they were being dispatched for a MVC in thier first due, Kent Center advised they would dispatch a rescue out of station 41(Camden). KM-7 was first to arrive and advise patient was out of vehicle. Engine 56-1 arrived shortly after KM-7, Officer 56-16 established Westville Rd command, reducing the assignmet to units on scene and B-56. B-56 transported one patient to KGH, units cleared scene.
