Mary B. Magdatine Leslie of Dover passed away Saturday January 26, 2013 at Capitol Nursing Home, Dover. She was 93. Mrs. Leslie was born December 25, 1919 in Henderson, Maryland to the late Howard Bickling and Bertha Alexander Bickling. She had worked for Playtex “ILC” for many years prior to becoming a clerk and substitute mail carrier for the Marydel Post Office. Mrs. Leslie was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Marydel and was in the WSCS. She was also a Charter and Life member of the Marydel Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and was its founding member. Mrs. Leslie also was a member and past president of the Homemakers Club. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by; her husband, Lee S. Leslie; her brother, Joseph Bickling; her sister and brother in law, Sarah ad Barney Sheppard; her son-in-law, Charles Robert Warrington. She is survived by; her daughter, Jean Warrington of Dover; sister in law, Aliticca Bickling of Dover; grandchildren, Lisa Martino and her husband Phillip; 3 great grandchildren, Hillary, Nicholas, and Heather. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews including Bobbi Sheppard Littlefield and David. Funeral services will be held 2pm, Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Calvary United Methodist Church in Marydel, where friends may call from 1pm until service time. Interment will be in the Greensboro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Calvary U.M. Church, Marydel, MD 21649 or the Marydel Volunteer Fire Company, Ladies Auxiliary, 110 Fire House Ln., Marydel, DE 19964.
