At 01:00 hrs MVFC was alerted to respond to BOX 7-8 to assist station 700 ( Goldsboro ) with report of a working house fire. 56-1 responded with a crew of 7 under the command of Asst. Chief Barr. Pumper Rescue 56-3 responded with a crew of 4 under the command of Lieutenant Madden. Tanker 56 responded with a crew of 2. Upon arrival crews found a mobile home fully involved. Command directed the crew from 56-1 to place in service an 1 3/4" line off Squad 702 to the Alpha side. Crews from the rescue assisted with overhaul. Once fire was extinguished crews assisted in clean up. At 02:36 hrs command held the box to 700 units returning all other equipment. All MVFC equipment returned available.
