On Tuesday afternoon at 2:27pm, Kent Center dispatched the Marydel Fire Company for a reported vehicle fire on Fox Hole Road. Engine 56-1 went responding with a crew of 6, officer 56-16 (Simonsen). Kent center advised it was a reported tractor on fire on Fox Hole Road and Darling Farm Road. Officer 51-23(Gosh) advised Kent Center he was in the area and asked for better directions. Kent center advised that it was near the intersections of Fox Hole and Darling farm, located on Fox Hole Road. Officer 51-23 went on location advising large tractor on fire off the roadway in a field. Officer 51-23 advised engine 1 route of travel to incident. Engine 1 arrived to conditions as reported, establishing Fox Hole Road. Crews quickley deployed a 1-3/4 hand line, the owner then hooked up another tractor to pull the tractor on fire out of the dirt so crews could extinguish fire. Kent Center advised that tanker 56 was not responding, command requested an additional engine company out of station 41 (units were returning from an automatic alarm). Command went under control, continuing engine 41-3, engine 41-3 supplied engine 1. Units cleared and returned.
