early morning on September 08, 2011 at 0232 hours Kent Center alerted the Marydel Fire Co. and Caroline County Maryland Station 700 (Goldsboro Fire Co.)for a reported structure fire. Kent center advised operations were on K-tac 4. Officer 56-15 (Madden) went responding as well as engine 56-1 with officer 56-23 (Albia) Kent Center advised units it was reported to be fully involved and on the ground. Tanker 56 went responding with officer 56-16 (Simonsen), and Rescue 56-3 went responding with officer 56-24 (Madden). Officer 56-15 arrived to conditions as reported, establishing Mahan Corner Rd. Command, ordering engine one and the tanker up the driveway. engine one's crews deployed the deck gun and started suppression efforts. Tanker 706 arrived and came up the driveway and supplied tanker 56. Command had engine 703 go to Mud Mill Pond and set up a draft operation to fill tankers for water supply. Command Placed situation under control with units working. Units cleared and returned to quarters. Units on scene included 56-1, T-56, 56-3, 703, T-706, FM-28, 56-15.
