On Thursday evening April 21, 2011 at 21:56 hours, Caroline County alerted The Marydel Fire Co., Station 700 (Goldsboro), and Kent County Delaware Station 51 (Hartly)for a reported structure fire at 136 Halltown Road, Marydel, MD.. Officer 56-15 (Madden) went responding P.O.V., Engine 56-1 went responding with a crew of 8, officer 56-17 (Olechny), the tanker with a full crew, and Pumper Rescue 56-3 with a full crew. Officer 56-15 arrived to a two story single family dwelling with fire showing side "D", division 2. 56-15 established Halltown Road Command, assigned engine one's crew to take two 1-3/4 handlines into the structure. Engine 703 and 51-3 arrived and assisted with suppression and overhaul, while Ladder 51 conducted ventilation on the roof. Queen Anne's County Station 6 (Sudlersville) and Kent County Delaware Station 41 (Camden) transferred one engine each to station 56. Command placed situation under controlled, units cleared.
