Busy day means multible runs for new engine - Marydel

The dry spell was broken today when the new pumper rescue was able to respond to it's first call plus a couple more. Monday started with the first run being dispatched for a manpower assist. Pumper Rescue 56-3 went responding with a full crew and firefighter Lepore as officer. The second run was for a child locked in an automobile, Pumper Rescue 56-3 went responding with a full crew and officer 56-15 (Madden). Child was extricated / removed from vehicle, units cleared. Third run of the day was for a tanker transfer to Queen Annes County station 6. The tanker went responding with a crew of 2, firefighter Mills as officer. Fourth alarm for the day was for a rescue for a long fall. Pumper Rescue 56-3 went responding with a full crew with officer 56-15 (Madden) Crew's backboarded patient and helped the EMS crew with loading and preparing patient for transport. Crews returned. Last and final alrm of the evening was for a engine transfer to Queen Anne's County Station 6. Pumper rescue responded with a full crew with officer 56-16 (Simonsen). Crew's stood by at station 6 while thier units were operating at a multiple alarm fire in Cecil County.
