Early Sunday morning, March 28, 2010 at 03:37 hours Kent Center alerted the Marydel Fire Company for a MVC on Westville Road and Parkers Chapel Road. Engine 56-1 went responding with officer 56-16 (Simonsen), chief Madden went responding P.O.V., Ambulance B-56 also went responding. Kent Center advised units it was reported as a single vehicle MVC with two patients. Chief Madden arrived with conditions as reported, establishing Westville Road Command. Engine 1 arrived and command had the crew assist with patient care and stabilize the vehicle. B-56 arrived and took over patient care and transported one patient to KGH. Command requested the second ambulance. Ambulance A-56 arrived and transported one patient to KGH. Command placed situation under control, holding fire police on scene to assist DSP with traffic control. Units on scene included Chief 56, engine 56-1, Ambulances A-56 and B-56, and DSP.
