Early Sunday morning on March 14, 2010 Kent Center alerted the Marydel Fire Company for a reported MVC in the 900 block of Mahan's Corner Road. Chief Madden went responding, engine 56-1 went responding with a crew of 6, officer 56-16 (simonsen), Rescue 56 with a crew of 5, officer 56-17 (Melvin), and ambulances A and B 56. Kent Center advised all units it was reported as a single vehicle MVC with 1 patient. Chief Madden arrived to a single vehicle MVC, with the roadway washed away and vehicle had jumped over washout. Engine 1 arrived and crews attended to patient. Rescue 56 arrived and officer 56-17 established Mahan's Corner Road Command. Patient was transported by B-56 to KGH, command requested Del Dot's TMC, then placed situation under control returning units. Chief Madden and fire police remained on scene till arrival of Del DOt's TMC.
