on Thursday February 18, 2010 Caroline County alerted the Marydel Fire Company along with the Goldsboro Fire Company (station 700) and Kent County Delaware Station 51 (Hartly) for a vehicle fire with a reported exposure problem. Engine 56-1 went responding with a crew of 7, with officer 56-16 (Simonsen), Tanker 56 with a crew of 2 with officer 56-21 (Bolden), engine 56-2 with a crew of 5, with officer 56-18 (Christ), and engine 56-4 with a crew of 2, officer 56-25 (Collins). Engine one arrived on location, reporting vehicle involved with severe exposure to a shed. Crews quickley deployed a handline and immediately started a quick knockdown. The tanker arrived pulled into the lane and supplied engine 1. Engine 2 arrived and crews assisted with overhaul, 56-16 passed command to officer 56-18. Engine 703 arrived and assisted with extinguishment and overhaul. Crews checked the shed for extension. Command reduced the assignment to units on scene. After extinguishment and overhaul was completed, command placed box under control and returned all units. Units on scene included 56-1,56-2, 56-4, tanker 56, B-56, Engine 703, PM-17, Kent County Del engine 51-3
