Four days after the last major snow storm / blizzard, yet another major snow storm blizzard hit the area. This storm brought another 14 - 20 inches of snow with white out conditions, with high gusting winds and conditions very bad due to drifting snow. Crews have been continuously staffing the station since last Friday night, crews were able to staff two BLS ambulances, an engine, and two support units. During this storm we had several trees down, ran a couple of ambulance calls and medical assist (for the support units). During this storm with the extra added weight of the snow we had to clear the snow off of the roof, with the extra weight it brought alot of concern. Crews cleared the snow off of the roof on Tuesday prior to the storm, but with the heavy snow and wind it had to be cleared again. A special Thanks to Hartly Fire Company for sending crews over with the quint to assist in the snow removal. Also a special thanks goes out to Jimmy Fox Jr. for bringing over a snow blower for us.
