Early Friday morning at 12:58am Caroline County Fire alerted stations 700, 56, & 600 for Box 7-5, for a reported structure fire at 27001 River Bridge Road in Henderson. Engine 56-1 went responding with a crew of six with officer 56-17 (Melvin). Officer 56-15 (Madden) went responding P.O.V., Tanker 56 with a crew of two with 56-16 (Simonsen) and 56-20 (Chief Emmeritus Lane). Officer 56-15 (Madden) arrived on location to a 1 story single family dwelling with smoke showing. Chief Madden advised first in units fire was reported in rear bedroom charlie side. Engine 703 arrived officer 7-16 established River Bridge Road Command. The crew of engine 703 advanced a 1-3/4" handline to start extinguishment. Engine 56-1 arrived and crews took second handline off of engine 703 and assisted with extinguishment and mop-up. Tanker 56 arrived and established water supply to engine 703. Engine 603 arrived and started ventilation. Fire was knocked down and ventilation completed, command placed situation under control returning units. Units on scene included; engines 703,702,56-1,603, Rescue 600, Tanker 704,606, T-56, PM-17, and MSFMO.
