Gas Leak Outside Commercial Structure - 18230 Henderson Rd. Walkers Grocery Store

At 20:11 hrs the Marydel Vol. Fire Co. was dispatched and responded to report of an odor of gas outside commercial structure. Engine 56-1 went on location 56-22 Hartnett with command. Upon investigation found a 100 lb. upright propane bottle with an active leak at the connection site to the fill station. Crews then placed in service 100 feet of 1 3/4 inch attack line and flowed water. Utilities were contacted and responded. Upon the arrival of the propane company command placed the box under control units returned when ready. At 21:04 hrs all 56 units were back in service in quarters. Units on scene: Engine 56-1 Rescue 56-6 Tanker 56 B-56 Fire police.
