B-56 placed in service - Marydel

Recently the Marydel Fire Company placed into service a 1998 Ford / Horton ambulance. The unit was purchased from the Bowers Fire Company. Unit was repainted / striped to match Marydel Fire Company's colors. The Marydel Fire Company was interested in purchasing a new unit, but with recent budget cuts we decided on purchasing a used unit and refurbishing it. The new unit will be designated as B-56 and will carry standard BLS equipment as well as a new power stretcher.
